Posteroventral Pallidotomy in a Patient with Parkinsonism Caused by Hypoxic Encephalopathy Neurol 49:707-710, Goto,S.,et al, 1997 See this aricle in Pubmed Article Abstract We report a patient with a hypokinetic-rigid form of parkinsonian caused by hypoxic encephalopathy,in whom parkinsonian symptoms were markedly alleviated by staged bilateral posteroventral pallidotomy.
